Compton Chamber of Commerce is hosting on Saturday, December 9th @ 2:30 pm at the Compton Public Library the swearing-in ceremony and the formal welcoming of the newly installed Compton Public Safety Commissioners.
Compton Chamber invites you, the esteemed Compton community leaders and the residents of our city to join the Swearing-In Ceremony for the incoming commissioners which will be conducted by Honorable Judge Kelvin Filer. Following the swearing-in ceremony, the gathered guests shall reconvene for a celebratory meet and greet where the new commissioners will be officially introduced to the members of the community. The members of the Compton community will get the opportunity to meet the new commissioners in person. You, your family, and your friends are welcome to join the elected officials and the members of the Compton Chamber of Commerce to commemorate this extraordinary meet & greet gathering.
Note: This ceremonial event is organized by the Compton Chamber of Commerce based on "Resolution #7" of the November 13th, 2023 Regular Meeting (minutes) of the "Public Safety Commission."
